As a member of the controlling team you can expect a great variety of tasks and challenging assignments. You are the financial support of one or more service-units or production units within a specific branch in Belgium. You give the managers of your units the needed economic framework to make sure they can control and improve their business. As a controller at BASF you will have a clear, coordinated view of our company. With your financial expertise, you will contribute to decisions of the managers who will design the future of BASF.
You will be the financial partner of different service departments like logistics, HR, infrastructure or a production department on the site of BASF Antwerpen or BASF Belgium Coordination Center Comm. V.
You use your financial expertise to set a clear economic framework for your clients. Your responsibilities range from following up fixed charges over planning and budgeting, supporting efficiency initiatives to the evaluation of investment projects. This wide range of tasks is further completed by different local and global projects.
Together with your close colleagues you share knowledge and information with other BASF employees all over the world.
You have a degree in economics and you gained some experience the past years in controlling or accounting.
You like to think analytically, which ensures you can understand complex problems quickly so you can suggest clear solutions to your clients.
You are a team player with convincing communication skills. Client orientation is your priority. While performing your assignments you always have a clear vision and you try to reach your target in a motivated way.
Furthermore you like to work with IT applications like SAP. You are capable to negotiate in Dutch and in English.
