Health Management forms part of our sustainable business management approach. From the start on our team in the Occupational Medical and Health Protection Department has been supporting employees and management executives in all their medical issues.
Our health care provision ranges from occupational medical care over emergency medical provision to health promotion. With the Bfit@BASF program the medical team helps employees on subjects such as alimentation, exercise, sleep, … To deliver the best medical service we make use of the diverse areas of expertise in our global network of over 40 doctors and approximately 150 employees who share their knowledge and experience globally.
We are looking for committed employees who enjoy teamwork and who have specialist expertise and qualifications in the following areas:
- Doctors with various specializations such as occupational medicine
- Paramedics
- Nurses/orderlies
- …
If you want to strengthen our team, you already need to have several years of clinical experience and the desire to become a specialist in your field.
We expect you to be a genuine team player. You also have good interpersonal skills and a friendly attitude towards your clients. You are good with stressful situations and always keep your focus on your clients.
As a member of the medical staff you get in touch with multiple medical disciplines such as:
- Periodical inspections
- Advice concerning psychosocial problems
- Disease treatment
- Biomonitoring
- Ergonomics
- Emergency medical care

You will be employed at BASF Antwerpen.
You can expect an extensive offer of training courses with a strong focus on on-the-job training by your skilled and motivated team. During the first months you will have the help of a buddy who will guide you in our company.
From this position on you can further develop in several ways by performing several tasks in Belgium or across borders.
