BASF awarded for highest standards in overall candidate experience
One of 50 companies recognized by the Talent Board
FLORHAM PARK, NJ October 29, 2015 -- BASF was recognized for providing an exceptional candidate experience in the 2015 North American Candidate Experience (CandE) Awards from the Talent Board. This is the third consecutive year that BASF has been awarded the distinction.
The Talent Board established the CandE Awards as a recognition and benchmarking program to evaluate and recognize organizations that produce outstanding candidate experiences. In order to compete for the award, each firm completed a multi-dimensional survey designed to capture and evaluate the nominated company’s recruitment processes and practices. The firms that met the award program’s baseline for candidate experience are then invited to participate in the second round of the competition, which involves surveying a random sampling of the company’s 2015 candidates. Following this round, the 50 companies with the highest scores were ranked as winners.
“Attracting and retaining top talent is more important than ever in today’s competitive job market,” said Bernadette Palumbo, Director of Talent Acquisition and University Relations at BASF. “Through a simple and transparent hiring process, we keep candidates informed every step of the way. We also ensure that they know who BASF is and what we stand for. Having a diverse and inclusive culture that engages candidates from all industries and generations is inherent in our core values, and continues to bolster our reputation as a workplace of choice.”
In addition to recognizing companies that provide a world-class candidate experience, the program also identifies best practices and creative solutions that other companies and the larger community can learn from and implement in their recruitment practices. BASF in particular prides itself on its robust careers page, candidate satisfaction surveys and online tracking system for interviewees.
