Greg Pflum to Lead Michigan Chemistry Council

WYANDOTTE, MI, December 7, 2015 – Greg Pflum, Vice President and General Manager at BASF, has been elected president of the Michigan Chemistry Council (MCC).

Pflum will serve a two-year term as president beginning in January 2016.  He has been a member of the MCC’s Board of Directors since 2011.

As Vice President and General Manager at BASF, Pflum oversees the company’s operations at its Wyandotte, Southfield and Fighting Island facilities. Collectively, these sites employ nearly 2,000 people.

In addition to this new role, Pflum sits on the board of trustees at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital, is 2016 chair-elect for the Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Michigan Chamber of Commerce.
