R-M introduces RMC5000 new general purpose clearcoat

Attractively priced product combines great gloss and ease-of-use

SOUTHFIELD, MI, February 4, 2016 – R-M® automotive refinish recently introduced RMC5000, a clear coat from BASF, that is easy to apply and provides exceptional gloss.  It is available for National Rule markets and is priced to compete with alternative clearcoats, while maintaining R-M’s lifetime warranty.

“Developed with productivity and cost effective repairs in mind, the easy-to-use formula of RMC5000 allows painters of all skill levels to achieve excellent results without any special training,” said Mike Freeman, BASF, R-M Market Segment Manager.  “Paint technicians can easily achieve the wet look on repairs ranging from spot and panels to large surface areas.”
