BASF brings color and chemistry for the personal care and cosmetics industries to NYSCC Suppliers’ Day 2017

FLORHAM PARK, NJ, April 25, 2017 – Bridging pioneering research with its chemistry expertise, BASF will showcase new ingredients and concepts for use in color cosmetics, hair care and skin care product formulations at the 2017 New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists (NYSCC) Suppliers’ Day, May 2-3 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. These new innovations include pigments, formulations, and active ingredients for the personal care and cosmetics industries.

“Formulators work to bring products to market that address the challenge of delivering both texture and sensory appeal, while providing long-lasting performance,” said Daniele Piergentili, Vice President, Home Care and Personal Care North America. “BASF continues to develop new solutions for skin and hair care to help our partners differentiate and meet this challenge.”

“Monitoring trend forecasts is another customer challenge,” added Diane Jansson, Global Business Manager, Cosmetics, Pigments, BASF. “This year we have teamed up with Pantone®, the world’s leading color expert, to look at color trends for Spring / Summer 2019. This allows us to help our customers strengthen their cosmetic brands.”
