BASF Canada Invites You to Celebrate National Chemistry Week at the Royal Ontario Museum
Saturday and Sunday, October 18th, 19th, 25th, 26th, 2025 | 11:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.
Join us on Saturday and Sunday, October 18th, 19th, 25th and 26th, at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) to celebrate National Chemistry Week and experience the wonders of chemistry with BASF Kids' Lab!
Hosted in ROM’s Makerspace, Level 1 area, the BASF Kids' Lab will offer young museum visitors the opportunity to participate in "The Chromatography Butterfly," an experiment that blends art and science. Using water, the chromatographic process separates the components of colourful felt-tip pens to make colourful butterflies!
Participating children will be equipped with safety goggles, gloves and a lab apron for the experiment. Kids will be gifted take-home items, including a BASF crayon pack, activity book and activity certificate!
Children of all ages are welcome.
