Adrien Desventes

Adrien Desventes serves as Head of Finance & Treasurer for BASF Canada, where he oversees finance and treasury activities for Canadia. Since joining BASF in 2017, Adrien has taken on progressively broader responsibilities within the Finance organization, contributing to strategic decision‑making and strengthening financial governance across the business.

During his tenure at BASF, he has held several key roles, including Functional Controller and Functional Analyst within the Global Business Warehouse (GBW) and Business Analyst with the APN team. His experience spans financial planning, performance management, operational finance support, and cross‑functional leadership.

Before joining BASF, Adrien built a strong foundation in finance through roles at Johnson & Johnson, where he worked as a Sales Reporting and Lead A/R Analyst and later on as Financial Analyst. He also served as Chief Financial Officer Assistant at Industrial Dielectrics Inc (IDI), further expanding his experience in corporate finance and operational financial management.

Adrien is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA – CGA) and holds a Master of Business Administration, complementing his deep expertise in financial leadership and organizational oversight.
