Tom Vandemoortele

Tom was appointed Site Manager for the Toronto location in December 2019. He is also a member of the Canadian Leadership Team. Since joining BASF in 2005 and Tom has held various roles in Ecology, Health and Safety (EHS), Quality and Sustainability before becoming the Toronto Site Manager.

Prior to joining BASF, he worked for several other companies both in Canada as well as in (his native) Belgium. He had roles in EHS, Quality and Operations. Tom has more than 25 years of experience and holds an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University as well as Master degrees in Environmental Sciences and Chemical Engineering.
