Meet Akihiro, working as an R&D engineer in Automotive Coatings Solutions. Akihiro is taking the lead in the development of clearcoats, including resin synthesis, sample preparation and evaluation. His current mission is to develop a new eco-friendly automotive clearcoat for a sustainable future.

"I started my career as an engineer in a painting company, which is also where I last worked. I was in charge of automotive coatings development and sales, and would often visit customers overseas to introduce our products and gather information for potential business.
