CHINAPLAS 2019: BASF empowers the future

Guangzhou, China – February 19, 2019 – At CHINAPLAS 2019, BASF will showcase innovative chemistry-driven solutions that empower the future of mobility, infrastructure, natural resources and daily life.

Turning ideas into ideal solutions is central to BASF’s purpose, creating chemistry for a sustainable future. At CHINAPLAS 2019, BASF will present co-creation projects including a sports outfit, a mobility care device, a building of the future, and innovative concept cars, demonstrating how successful collaboration along the entire value chain can better serve market needs – both now and in the future.

BASF material innovations combine aesthetics, functionality and performance and the unlimited design freedom of plastics. At CHINAPLAS 2019, BASF will showcase how these innovations, backed by resources such as material engineering, design expertise and proprietary simulation technologies, are providing the impetus for solutions that not only meet global energy demands, but also sustainability goals and prevelant regulatory trends.

BASF will also introduce a virtual millennial protagonist named ‘Bryan’ on its online and digital platforms. Through the eyes of ‘Bryan’ in a series of futuristic scenarios, from commuting or while at work, rest and play, BASF will show how it is empowering the future with its innovative solutions.
