“It is a great honor to receive this award. I love this dynamic, ever-changing industry which has a powerful impact on everyone’s lives. If we are talking about agricultural achievements, then mine are tiny compared to what farmers achieve every day. Therefore, I want to dedicate this award to the lifetime achievement of farmers around the globe for doing the biggest job on earth,” said Markus Heldt.
The life of Markus Heldt has been defined by agriculture. He grew up on a small family farm in Germany. Working for BASF since 2000, he shaped the agricultural industry on all continents.
