The Oromia Agricultural Federation Workshop

BASF Trade Representative Office in Ethiopia in collaboration with Oromia Agricultural Cooperative Federation Ltd organized a workshop aimed at training cooperative unions operating in major crop growing zones of Oromia - Adama on the benefits of using our innovative cereals' fungicides.

The workshop aimed at strengthening our relationship with farmers and discussing the opportunities that can enhance distribution of our products to farming communities in Ethiopia with a focus on member unions of Oromia Agricultural Cooperative Federation Ltd. During the workshop, the customers were educated on product application and safe use of pesticides.

The event was attended by 42 cooperative unions, 67 primary cooperative unions and members of the Oromia cooperative agency & Agricultural cooperative. The session was a good opportunity for BASF to interact with the key influencers and customers in Ethiopia. The customers expressed their appreciation to BASF holding the workshop as it improves the farming practices in the region.
