How you’ll become a part of our team

There are many different ways of joining BASF as a graduated pharmacist: the classical way to join is in research & development as a research scientist or as an expert in applications technology. However there are equally exciting possibilities in regulatory affairs or perhaps you will strengthen our team in product management or sales, or marketing. We look forward to getting to know you.

Which qualifications do you need?

After successfully completing your pharmaceutical education and exams, your knowledge and insight will help you start your career path. Where do you start your career?

A direct start is possible after your studies in the areas of research & development, regulatory affairs, sales, or marketing. You will work within the business unit of Nutrition and Health.

There are a host of interesting activities awaiting you.

As a lab-team leader in research and development your focus could be:

  • work on a research project, e.g. development of new excipients
  • Development of innovative formulation technologies for active ingredients

As an expert in applications technology or in marketing:

  • Technical presentation of BASF products and pipeline technologies to customers
  • Business development and life cycle management for BASF products
