Stockport is the sales centre for BASF plc, a subsidiary of BASF SE, marketing a wide range of BASF products in the UK. These include acrylic monomers, fine chemicals, intermediate chemicals, speciality chemicals, dispersions, and plastics. The Stockport office is also the sales centre for BASF Agricultural Solutions UK, formerly a division of BASF plc, which markets innovative solutions in crop protection, turf and ornamental plants, pest control, and public health. 

BASF plc is an agent for BTC Europe GmbH, which is part of the pan-European sales organization of BASF focused on speciality chemicals and performance polymers.
