With a focus on building climate resilience with sustainable products, these solutions incorporate Climatile™ technology from Takazuri, which utilizes locally collected and converted post-consumer materials. Furthermore, additive packages from BASF have been specifically tailored to suit the unique weather conditions of the region. This collaboration aims to provide long-term, environmentally friendly solutions that promote economic development in Africa and make a positive impact on both the construction industry and the local communities with a potential to scale to other regions.

BASF's Coatings division has official inaugurated its new Application and Technical Center in Jiangmen, China. Located within the site of BASF Coatings (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. (BCG), the center marks another major milestone in the continuous expansion of BASF Coatings’ global refinish technology network.

BASF Vietnam and its co-sponsors, in collaboration with the social enterprise Think Playgrounds (TPG), have successfully implemented their eighth public playground project in Vietnam. The project aims to support development through outdoor play for more than 200 visually-impaired students at Nguyen Dinh Chieu Special School in Ho Chi Minh City, making it easier for them to learn, grow, and integrate.

BASF has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UPC Technology Corporation (UPC), marking a significant step in their longstanding collaboration. This strategic partnership aims to foster long-term regional cooperation, focusing on the supply of plasticizer alcohols and catalysts for phthalic anhydride (PA) and maleic anhydride (MA), along with the development of sustainable solutions to reduce carbon emissions from operations and products.
