BASF is expanding the application focus of its Ultrason® portfolio to advance the development of electrical and electronic (E&E) components used in AI-driven data centers, high-speed connectivity and e-mobility. BASF and UPC Technology Corporation (UPC) signed a strategic Letter of Intent (LoI) on LowPCF products during the BASF & UPC Technology Low Carbon Footprint Strategic Partnership Summit held on September 1, 2026, at UPC's Zhuhai site. September 11,  2026 – With immediate effect, or as contract terms allow, BASF will increase prices for its Lupranate^® MDI (Methylene Diphenyl Diisocyanate) basic products and Lupranate^® TDI (Toluene Diisocyanate) by $250 per metric ton in ASEAN and South Asia countries.
