BASF has introduced a new polyurethane (PU) concept shoe, co-created with the design studio The Directive Collective and global footwear brand Clarks for its TRIEASE collection. BASF Hannong Chemicals Solutions Ltd. (BHCS),the joint venture between BASF and Hannong Chemicals, announced the inauguration of its new non-ionic surfactant (NIS) site located in the Daesan Industrial Complex in Seosan, Chungcheongnam-do, Korea.

BASF has signed an Asset Purchase Agreement to sell its Softex business to GOVI CAST Sdn. Bhd., a leading supplier of specialty chemicals. The transaction includes the customer list, formulation and production know-how, and a tolling/supply agreement to ensure continuity during the transition. Physical assets will be excluded from the agreement.
