Appointment of Parvana Wali Head of Agricultural Solutions BASF Australia and New Zealand

  • Parvana Wali appointed as Head of Agricultural Solutions – BASF Australia and New Zealand
  • Gavin Jackson to retire from his position after leading the BASF team for eight years and having a rich experience of over 30 years in the industry

 

Melbourne, Australia – 16 May 2024 – Parvana Wali, Head of Rotational Crop, Asia Pacific, will take over as Head of Agricultural Solutions of BASF Australia and New Zealand, as of 1 July 2024. She will succeed Gavin Jackson who will be retiring from his position on 30 June 2024 but will stay on to 30 September 2024 to support the handover.

 

Gavin is widely regarded in the Australian agriculture industry with over 30 years of experience, having started his career in 1993 and retiring with about 20 years in BASF and its affiliated entities. Parvana has been with BASF for 20 years and has held a variety of positions within Performance Materials, Care Chemicals and has been in Agricultural Solutions for the last five years with her current role as a regional crop manager.
