BASF appoints Christofer Arisandy as President Director for Indonesia

Jakarta, Indonesia – January 16, 2023 – BASF has appointed Christofer Arisandy as its President Director for BASF companies in Indonesia, effective January 1, 2023. He succeeds Agus Ciputra, who simultaneously takes a regional role.

Christofer Arisandy has 20 years of experience in the chemical industry. Christofer began his career with BASF in 2003 as a laboratory manager in the Research & Development department for BASF SE. He has since worked in various positions in product management, marketing and strategy in Germany and Hong Kong. In his most recent role, Christofer was the Head of Regional Marketing Home Care and Industrial Formulations, Care Chemicals Asia Pacific.

Christofer Arisandy was born in Surabaya, Indonesia. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Airlangga, doctorate’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Oxford, and Master of Business Administration from ESSEC/Mannheim Business School.
