BASF launches Facebook page in Japanese

Tokyo, Japan – July 9, 2014 – BASF customers, suppliers, and fans can experience the magic of chemistry online with the launch of BASF’s Facebook page in Japanese.

With fascinating chemistry facts, job opportunities, and BASF updates from Japan and around the world, the page will embody BASF’s global strategy, “We create chemistry.”

BASF has been interacting with fans on Facebook since 2008, with more than 175,000 people worldwide currently registered as fans and followers. BASF first provided a Japanese discussion platform on Facebook last year in conjunction with 10th anniversary in Japan of BASF Kids’ Lab, BASF’s global chemistry education program.
