Chinaplas 2015: World’s first e-Floater arrives in China

Guangzhou, China / Taipei, Taiwan – May 13, 2015 – The world’s first e-Floater, an ultra-lightweight, and solar-powered electric scooter made with BASF materials, will arrive in China for an exclusive showing at Chinaplas. The innovative e-Floater weighs less than 12 kilograms and consists of more than 80% composite and plastic materials. The e-Floater preview is only available to attendees of the “Design x Innovation” concurrent event at Chinaplas 2015.
BASF’s high performance and versatile plastic materials have enabled design freedom and streamlined construction of the e-Floater. Combining stability, durability and safety with an exciting, functional design, the e-Floater will serve as a boost to sustainable urban mobility.
