Oldenburg

Oldenburg is the home of BASF's Europe competence center for flooring and waterproofing systems. At the site, we manufacture solutions for the construction industry, such as flooring systems, waterproofing systems and products for tunnel construction and mining. In addition, since the middle of December 2016, Akzo Nobel has been producing industrial coatings for the wind energy, metal construction and engineering industries at the Oldenburg site.

About the Site
The site located in northwestern Germany goes back a long way, with its cornerstone laid in 1883. It has belonged to BASF since 2006. In addition to development, production, sales and technical service, the Oldenburg site houses part of the European product management for the Construction Chemicals division. In mid-December 2016 AkzoNobel took over the production of industrial coatings.

Solutions for construction industry
Whether they need to be anti-static, slip-proof or noise-absorbing, BASF's MasterTop flooring systems applied in liquid form are ideally tailored to meet individual requirements and are well-suited for both decorative and industrial applications. At the Oldenburg site we also produce MasterSeal waterproofing systems suitable as watertight all-round solutions for a wide range of structures, as well as MasterRoc products and systems for underground construction. Our solutions for the construction industry are consolidated under the global brand Master Builders Solutions.
