BASF’s Global Business Services to establish a Global Service Hub for Finance and HR services in Hyderabad

BASF’s Global Business Services, the global service organization of BASF, is set to open a new Global Service Hub in Hyderabad, India, in the second quarter of 2026. The announcement was made during a press briefing in Hyderabad and marked by the handover of a Letter of Intent (LoI) to the Hon’ble Shri Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Hon’ble Minister for Information Technology, Electronics, Communications, Commerce & Industries and Legislative Affairs, Government of Telangana.
The certified home-compostable biopolymer ecovio® can now be used to manufacture different barrier structures based on paper or plastic substrates for flexible packaging.

New ecovio® portfolio for flexible packaging: multiple barrier options combined with organic or paper recycling

BASF is expanding its certified compostable ecovio® portfolio with new grades that meet increasing recycling needs of flexible barrier packaging. The extended portfolio enables manufacturers of flexible packaging and brand owners to tailor barrier performance and end-of-life options like organics or paper recycling according to application functionalities, processing technologies and regulatory frameworks.
NOR HALS solutions from BASF provide long shelf life even under intense sunlight and acidic conditions, reduce plastic accumulation in soil through easier recollection and fewer film breakages.
