BASF India Limited announces Q2 2024-2025 results

The Company reported Profit before tax (before exceptional items) of Rs. 1,712.0 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2024 as compared to Profit before tax (before exceptional items) of Rs. 2,002.7 million in the corresponding quarter of the previous.

For the half-year ended on September 30, 2024, the Company registered sales of Rs. 82,146.2 million, as compared to Rs. 70,812.5 million for the corresponding period of the previous year, an increase of 16%. Profit before tax (before exceptional items) stood at Rs. 4,540.7 million for the half-year ended September 30, 2024, compared to Profit Before Tax (before exceptional items) of Rs. 3,521.4 million for the corresponding period of the   previous year. Profit after tax (after exceptional items) stood at Rs. 3,485.2 million for the half-year ended September 30, 2024 as compared to Profit after tax (after exceptional items) of Rs. 2,617.8 million reported in the corresponding period of the previous year.

"In Q2, we saw good momentum especially in Materials and Chemicals, Agricultural Solutions and Industrial Solutions segments, leading to a consolidated segment revenue growth of 16% year-to-date” said Alexander Gerding, Managing Director, BASF India Limited & Head - BASF Group Companies in India.
