BASF India Limited announces full-year 2024-2025 audited annual results

Mumbai, India – May 14, 2025 – BASF India Limited (BSE code: 500042) registered sales of Rs. 152,600.0  million for the financial year ended March 31, 2025, as compared to Rs. 137,674.8 million in the previous year. 

The Company reported profit before tax (before exceptional items) of Rs. 6,167.7  million for the financial year ended March 31, 2025 as compared to profit before tax (before exceptional items) of Rs. 7,588.7 million in the previous year.  

In the quarter ended on March 31, 2025, the Company registered sales of Rs. 32,867.1  million, as compared to Rs. 33,599.7 million for the corresponding period of the previous year. Profit before tax (before exceptional items) stood at Rs  250.1  million for the quarter ended on March 31, 2025, compared to Profit before tax (before exceptional items) of Rs. 2,193.3 million for the corresponding period of the previous year. 

“While revenue growth was observed across all segments, the profitability was impacted due to higher input costs and lower price realisation  amidst market volatility, especially in the last quarter. The Board of Directors of the Company have recommended a dividend of Rs. 20 per equity share i.e., 200% for the financial year ended on March 31, 2025,  subject to the approval of the shareholders at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting.


The Board of Directors at its meeting held yesterday also approved the Scheme of Arrangement amongst BASF India Limited (Demerged Company), BASF Agricultural Solutions India Limited (Resulting Company) and their respective shareholders, subject to the requisite approvals from statutory and regulatory authorities and the National Company Law Tribunal.
