BASF India Limited announces Q1 2025-2026 results
Mumbai, India – July 30, 2025 – BASF India Limited (BSE code: 500042) registered sales of Rs. 38,745.4 million for the first quarter of the financial year 2025-26, as compared to Rs. 39,669.0 million in the same quarter of the previous year.
Profit before tax (before exceptional items) stood at Rs. 1,876.7 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2025 compared to Profit before tax (before exceptional items) of Rs. 2,828.6 million for the corresponding period of the previous year.
“In Q1 FY2025–26, BASF India delivered a resilient performance amidst a challenging market environment. Agricultural Solutions, Industrial Solutions, Surface Technologies, and Nutrition & Care Chemicals showed stable or improved revenue, although results were impacted by higher costs. We remain focused on disciplined working capital management and optimizing inventory levels to support sustainable growth,” said Alexander Gerding, Managing Director, BASF India Limited & Head - BASF Group Companies in India.
