BASF aspires to continue being a sustainable growth partner for Malaysia
- Relocating to new office in Bandar Utama in August 2020
- New office offers more co-creation opportunities
- Activity-based workplace empowers employees with the flexibility to deliver their best for customers and business partners
Shah Alam, Malaysia – July 23, 2020 – Effective August 1, 2020, BASF (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (BMS) will be operating from its new office in Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya, Selangor. The office relocation is part of BMS’s transformation journey to enhance its position as a sustainable growth partner and competitive employer of choice for future generations in Malaysia.
Situated in a vibrant area with easier accessibility and higher connectivity, the new office will allow for more collaboration and co-creation opportunities among employees and our business partners.
The new office is designed based on an “activity-based workplace” concept that integrates the latest smart office solutions to provide a more sustainable, efficient, and flexible workplace. Without designated workstations, employees can flexibly choose their workspace to fit their work requirements of the day. Combined with the company’s Human Resource policies supporting flexible working hours and work arrangements, employees can “work anytime, anyplace, anywhere.”
“Over the years, we have benefited from a pool of diverse and capable local talents, whom we continuously develop to be future-ready. In this new office, we are empowering our employees to take ownership of their working arrangement – be it location, style, or time. We want to energize and inspire our employees to grow and deliver their best for our customers. Together, we will continue to support the sustainable growth of Malaysia,” said Goh Eng Leong, Managing Director, BASF (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and Head of Malaysia-Singapore Business Area.
