Talent Community

Become a member of our global Talent Community to stay informed about suitable positions and relevant news about BASF. If you want to stay updated on interesting jobs in your preferred region or country, we recommend activating a job agent via our Talent Community to receive newly published jobs directly to your mailbox.

Once you have found an interesting position in the job search and signed into our Talent Community, you will be asked to register on our online application system.

Here you are able to create your own profile. You can upload your CV and import your personal information directly into your profile. Alternatively, you can apply by using your LinkedIn profile. Your personal information from LinkedIn will be made available for your application at BASF.

You will need about 15 - 20 minutes to complete the application. In the case where you import your CV data or you use data from LinkedIn, you will be much faster.

You found more than one interesting job? Please apply online for up to three positions only. If you submitted your application, you will instantly receive a confirmation email.

 

To get some first impressions of you during the screening process, we review the information that you provided to us in your application. In addition to your professional qualifications, we are especially interested in:

  • Your educational and professional goals
  • Your work experience  
  • Your commitment e.g. in social, athletic, musical or cultural endeavours 
  • Your intercultural interests or experiences
  • Further education, qualifications or awards etc.

 

If your application is taken forward to the next stage, you will be invited to attend personal interviews. These interviews are primarily focused on getting to know you better and giving you the chance to get an idea of how BASF operates as an employer.

Depending on the role, you may also be required to complete psychometric assessments as part of the interview process. These may include personality questionnaires, presentations or case study simulations as well as a technical and competency based interviews.

How long does the whole application process take?

In general, it takes 2-3 months between a candidate sending the application and receiving the job offer. The length of time is influenced by a number of factors and can vary.
