BASF Coatings today named the leadership team that will run the business as an independent company from July 1, 2026, after the closing of the transaction. The new structure brings together leaders who have built the coatings business over many years and senior executives with proven records in finance, digital and transformation. The Executive Committee will be led by incoming Chief Executive Officer Jens Luehring.  

The MSA M1 self-contained breathing apparatus uses a carrier plate made of Ultramid^® A3XZC3 ESD, which combines flame retardancy, high mechanical strength, and defined electrical properties. The highly impact-modified, carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic proves itself not only in demanding technical applications but also in daily use – for example with BASF’s plant fire brigade.

BASF Aroma Ingredients has launched Micadelva™, a new citrus fragrance ingredient developed as a non-allergenic alternative to orange terpenes. Rather than directly replacing traditional orange materials, Micadelva™ presents a new orange platform for perfumers.

Adapzo^® Active, BASF Agricultural Solutions’ latest fungicide innovation, was designated a new and distinct mode of action by the Fungicide Resistance Action Committee (FRAC). Chemically known as flufenoxadiazam, the active ingredient is the industry’s first histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor and the sole representative of the newly established “FRAC Group Code 56”.
