BASF evaluates MDI investment in India

BASF is evaluating a potential investment in India as part of its continued commitment to serving growing customer demand in the region. The company is in the advanced stages of a feasibility study for the construction of an MDI (methylene diphenyl diisocyanate) production complex and has secured an industrial land parcel in Dahej, Gujarat, for the potential investment through its Indian subsidiary, BASF India Polyurethanes Private Limited.

BASF mandates investment banks for planned IPO of Agricultural Solutions

BASF has mandated Citi, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan as Global Coordinators to lead the preparation of the planned initial public offering (IPO) of its Agricultural Solutions business. With this, BASF Agricultural Solutions is taking the next step on its path toward IPO readiness, targeted by mid-2027. As previously announced, BASF plans to list Agricultural Solutions as a Societas Europaea (SE) on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

BASF introduces low-VOC polyurethane catalyst Lupragen® BisDMAPU

BASF’s Intermediates division is expanding its portfolio of amine catalysts with Lupragen® BisDMAPU, a new low-emission catalyst designed for flexible polyurethane (PU) foam applications. Lupragen BisDMAPU (chemical name: 1,3-Bis[3-(dimethylamino)propyl]urea, CAS 52338-87-1) will be available to customers globally under the Lupragen trademark.
