BASF to increase prices for Ultramid, Capron, Nypel, Ultradur and Petra grades in North America

WYANDOTTE, MI, February 2, 2022 – BASF will increase prices as follows in North America for the following grades effective February 15, 2022, or as contracts allow.  Please note that higher increases for some specific grades, such as impact modified and flame retardant grades may be required.

 

Ultramid®, Capron® & Nypel® (PA compounds)                                           $0.30/lb

Ultradur® (PBT polymer & compounds) & Petra® (PET compounds)            $0.20/lb
