Qualifying cotton farmers and their families gathered in Lubbock, Texas, on April 9 to celebrate FiberMax^® cotton yield achievements as part of BASF’s FiberMax One Ton Club™, a long-standing tradition now in its 21st year. The club recognizes cotton farmers who produce FiberMax cotton yields of one ton or more in a given year. In total, 42 farming operations made this year’s club following the 2025 growing season and were recognized at the annual banquet.
 

BASF Corporation is launching Butyl acrylate RE and 2-Ethylhexylacrylate RE (Renewable Electricity), two new products that are manufactured at BASF’s Freeport, Texas site with attributed electricity from renewable sources. This reduces CO₂ emissions in the manufacturing process and improves the products’ carbon footprint compared to conventionally produced acrylic acid esters.

BASF Corporation and Oxidium Technologies LLC today announced an agreement under which Oxidium will acquire BASF’s Aseptrol^® technology portfolio. Originally acquired by BASF from Engelhard in 2006, the Aseptrol chlorine dioxide product line is widely used in applications such as water purification, disinfection, and dental line cleaning.
 

BASF has announced the first commercial production of its biomass balance (BMB) polyether polyols in North America, manufactured at the company’s Verbund site in Geismar, Louisiana. The new product line broadens BASF’s portfolio of sustainable polyurethane raw materials and represents a significant milestone in advancing the company’s sustainability goals.
 

BASF is introducing Ridivex herbicide, a convenient all-in-one premix of three active ingredients with three different sites of action. Ridivex herbicide delivers powerful knockdown and long-lasting residual control, which will give corn growers confidence that their weed management is complete for today, tomorrow and weeks to come. Ridivex herbicide is currently pending registration with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
