BASF launches ELASTOSPRAY BMB isocyanate to expand low‑carbon solutions in North American spray polyurethane foam market

BASF has introduced ELASTOSPRAY® BMB, a biomass balance[1] isocyanate developed for use with BASF spray polyurethane foam (SPF) systems, delivering reduced embodied carbon while maintaining the same trusted performance, processing, and compliance as conventional BASF isocyanates.
 
Qualifying cotton farmers and their families gathered in Lubbock, Texas, on April 9 to celebrate FiberMax® cotton yield achievements as part of BASF’s FiberMax One Ton Club™, a long-standing tradition now in its 21st year. The club’s annual banquet culminates with a sweepstakes drawing for a two-year lease on a Ford® Super Duty® F-350 Lariat® truck. This year’s winners were Peyton and Kim Wilde of Lubbock, Texas.

BASF celebrates cotton farmers’ yield achievements with 21st annual FiberMax One Ton Club

Qualifying cotton farmers and their families gathered in Lubbock, Texas, on April 9 to celebrate FiberMax® cotton yield achievements as part of BASF’s FiberMax One Ton Club™, a long-standing tradition now in its 21st year. The club recognizes cotton farmers who produce FiberMax cotton yields of one ton or more in a given year. In total, 42 farming operations made this year’s club following the 2025 growing season and were recognized at the annual banquet.
 
BASF's Freeport, Texas Verbund site is the leading producer of basic chemicals, intermediates and fiber products. Propylene from BASF's steam cracker in Port Arthur, Texas is used to manufacture acrylic acid, a key starting material for numerous other products.

BASF and Avery Dennison collaborate to launch BASF’s newest acrylates based on renewable electricity: Butyl acrylate RE and 2-Ethylhexyl acrylate RE

BASF Corporation is launching Butyl acrylate RE and 2-Ethylhexylacrylate RE (Renewable Electricity), two new products that are manufactured at BASF’s Freeport, Texas site with attributed electricity from renewable sources. This reduces CO2 emissions in the manufacturing process and improves the products’ carbon footprint compared to conventionally produced acrylic acid esters.
