BASF expands EcoBalanced portfolio and powers six U.S. Care Chemicals sites with 100 percent renewable electricity

BASF has announced the expansion of its EcoBalanced portfolio for Care Chemicals in North America with the introduction of the first EcoBalanced products for personal care in the region. BASF’s cocoamidopropyl betaine products Dehyton® PK 45 and Dehyton® KE UP are now certified as EcoBalanced grades using a biomass balance (BMB) approach.

BASF expands sustainable chelating agent solutions with Trilon G

BASF Care Chemicals has announced the launch of Trilon® G chelating agent, which utilizes GLDA (glutamic acid diacetate) chemistry. This latest addition to BASF's product portfolio complements the existing range of chelating agents, including MGDA (methylglycinediacetic acid) and EDTA (tetrasodium ethylenediaminetetraacetate), and helps to fulfill the growing demand for more sustainable solutions.

BASF celebrates cotton farmers’ yield achievements with 20th annual FiberMax One Ton Club

Cotton farmers and their families gathered in Lubbock, Texas, on April 3 to celebrate FiberMax® cotton yield achievements as part of BASF’s FiberMax One Ton Club™, a long-standing tradition now in its 20th year. The club recognizes cotton farmers who produce FiberMax yields of one ton or more in a given year. In total, 56 members made this year’s club following the 2024 growing season and were recognized at the annual banquet.
