FoamStar® ED 2523
Ultra-low SVOC, emulsion defoamer for medium to high PVC architectural coatings.
FoamStar ED 2523 is a universal, polymer-emulsion defoamer enhanced with small amount of modified PDMS. It is an excellent defoamer for many flat to semigloss aqueous coatings. This product exhibits excellent foam suppression during grinding as well as application, retains antifoam efficiency during extended storage of paint, and it is easy to incorporate without requiring strong shear forces. It is also highly compatible, maintains gloss, and there is no fogging. FoamStar ED 2523 is VOC-free according to EU Directive 2004/42/EC and EPA Method 24 (USA) and has a very low semivolatile organic compound content.
