FoamStar® PB 2708
Effective deaerator and defoamer over a wide temperature range.
FoamStar PB 2708 provides a good stock deaerating and foam-inhibiting effect in a wide range of applications. It is suitable for all types of fibrous raw materials and can therefore be used with both bleached and unbleached chemical pulps and with recycled paper. It is also used in the production of groundwood and sulphite pump to enhance stock deaeration for pulp thickening. It appears as a clear liquid, being a polyether derivative of an aliphatic alcohol.
