Who we are

Welcome to BASF in Houston, Texas

BASF’s presence in the greater Houston area is diverse.

With locations across the city, Houston is the regional headquarters to our Petrochemical business, Engineering and Technical Expertise, and the global headquarters for Global Oilfield Solutions. We also support many other BASF businesses in research, manufacturing and production. In total, the sites employ more than 500 employees with new opportunities posted often.

The Petrochemicals business is the cornerstone of BASF’s petrochemical-based value chains throughout the region. We manufacture and market a broad portfolio of cracker products, industrial gases, alkylene oxides, glycols, solvents, plasticizers and acrylates.

Headquartered in downtown Houston, the Petrochemicals business has a large presence in Texas with manufacturing facilities in Pasadena, Port Arthur and Freeport. We provide intelligent solutions for the raw material requirements of our customers. We are a responsible, reliable and trustworthy partner, and we have a dedicated, creative and global team.
