BASF’s presence in Ohio includes operations in Beachwood, Cincinnati, Greenville, Elyria, Lima and Whitehouse.

The Beachwood, Cincinnati, Greenville, Elyria, Lima and Whitehouse BASF sites employ over 500 employees and contractors and invest over $60 million in the state through annual payroll, purchases, taxes and charitable contributions. BASF in Ohio is committed to being a great place to work and an exemplary community partner.

The Cincinnati, Greenville and Elyria sites produce chemicals that are vital to the sustainability of our economy and quality of life. The Whitehouse location is a technical support center, providing a wide range of R&D, technical, and customer support services for BASF coatings business groups; the Beachwood site is a research and development facility of battery materials that supports BASF’s catalyst business, and located in the northwest part of the state; and the Lima facility is a joint venture between BASF and Nouryon that produces ingredients for personal care products.
