The Beachwood, Cincinnati, Greenville, Elyria, Lima and Whitehouse BASF sites employ over 500 employees and contractors and invest over $60 million in the state through annual payroll, purchases, taxes and charitable contributions. The Whitehouse location is a technical support center, providing a wide range of R&D, technical, and customer support services for BASF coatings business groups; the Beachwood site is a research and development facility of battery materials that supports BASF’s catalyst business, and located in the northwest part of the state; and the Lima facility is a joint venture between BASF and Nouryon that produces ingredients for personal care products.
