BASF successfully hosts Kids’ Lab in Yeosu marking its 70th year milestone in Korea
BASF successfully hosted Kids' Lab, a global science education program, on September 3. This year's Kids' Lab was held at BASF's Yeosu site, the company's largest production facility in Korea, to mark the 70th anniversary of BASF's presence in the country.

BASF achieves ISCC+ certification across all its global major production sites for Acrylics, Alcohols, Glycol Ethers and Acetates, taking an important step to support customers fulfilling their targets and ambitions. With this step, BASF is now able to produce more than 60 products related to this portfolio with one or more sustainability attributes.
Safe and robust: Thyseed baby bottles now made of Ultrason®
Baby bottles of the baby feeding and nurturing products brand Thyseed are now made of BASF’s high-performance thermoplastic Ultrason®. The bottles for babies and toddlers benefit from the BASF polyphenylsulfone (PPSU) Ultrason® P 3010 in several ways: It is approved for food contact and features excellent mechanical strength, chemical resistance as well as resistance to superheated steam at 134°C. These properties ensure that the baby bottles are safe to use, while being lightweight and shatter-proof.
Coloring a greener future: BASF powers up its Automotive OEM Coatings operations with 100% renewable electricity in China
BASF's Coatings division has successfully renewed its agreement to procure 100% renewable electricity at its automotive OEM coatings manufacturing operations in Shanghai, China. Through a combination of Renewable Direct Power Purchase (R-DPP), International Renewable Energy Certificates (I-REC), and other measures, the company will continue to power its BASF Shanghai Coatings Minhang and Caojing sites, as well as the BASF Coatings' resin plant in Caojing, solely with green power.
