BASF Canada reduces its carbon footprint with Bullfrog Power’s green electricity

BASF’s renewable energy commitment will reduce its CO2 emissions footprint by approximately 1,520 tonnes on an annual basis. This amount of carbon dioxide is equivalent to taking nearly 325 cars off the road for a year.

UN Sustainable Development Goals

BASF co-founded global Alliance to End Plastic Waste in January 2019

The Alliance to End Plastic Waste (AEPW) is made up of nearly thirty major global companies. They have committed over $1.0 billion with the goal of investing $1.5 billion over the next five years to develop, deploy and bring to scale solutions that will minimize and manage plastic waste and promote post-use solutions.

The sky is the limit for Hiawatha’s citizens as community hub goes solar

The Hiawatha First Nation celebrated a new solar installation on the Old Railroad Stop, the community’s flagship business and gathering place. The 22-kilowatt (kW) installation is made possible through support from BASF and Bullfrog Power, Canada’s leading renewable energy provider.
