Then apply to the BASF Human Resources department. From day one you will take on responsibility for a specific area - depending on your previous experience also in a managerial role.

All those joining us will be perfectly trained for their area of work and supported by managers and the HR unit. To achieve this, we introduced a new program in 2014 "Welcome to BASF – BE PART", where we put a BASF buddy at your side and show you what is important at BASF. You will decide on your own individual qualification modules with your manager. You can also take advantage of many opportunities to build up and expand your network.

The program is supplemented in Human Resources by the "Welcome to HR" initiative - so that you feel welcome from the very start.

We are Human Resources with passion and also want to see this passion in you! That's why we are looking for personalities that not only bring with them excellent technical qualifications but also entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to achieve something great in the team.

The Human Resources department at BASF also offers ideal working conditions for professionals. You will structure demanding HR topic areas and - depending upon your qualifications - will also have the opportunity to take on managerial responsibility.

You can work in our central HR organization according to your area of work on designing our HR products and processes and supporting their implementation - including on the following areas:

  • development of the HR strategy and processes for the whole BASF group
  • compensation
  • benefits
  • transfers
  • recruitment
  • talent development
  • personnel planning and controlling
  • staffing policy

In addition, our group companies and departments have their own HR units. As an HR Business Partner you will advise managers and employees on HR issues and be the first contact for all HR questions. You will implement HR instruments for the specific unit and support the design of central HR products and their development with your practical experience.
