MasterFinish CLN 689: an innovative and eco-friendly formwork cleaner by Master Builders Solutions®
- Removes rust, cement and plastic residues, grease and other stains/blemishes on formworks and allows spotless concrete surfaces
- Odorless and easy application
- Cutting edge environmental compatibility and employee protection
Mannheim, Germany, May 09, 2018 – The high-performance MasterFinish CLN 689 formwork cleaner is an innovative cleaning agent for spotless concrete surfaces developed by the experts from Master Builders Solutions®. Brush- or spray-applied, MasterFinish CLN 689 is a non-odor product with a particularly environmentally compatible composition.
The benefit for the customer: The use of MasterFinish CLN 689 leaves the formwork durably clean and free from residue. When used in combination with a suitable release agent from the Master Builders Solutions product range, the result is a spotless fairfaced-concrete surface. The Master Builders Solutions concrete release agents are marketed under the MasterFinish RL brand name. “MasterFinish CLN 689 leaves a permanent micro-layer on the surface. On steel formwork, this layer provides high-level rust protection and forms an excellent base for the subsequent use of the MasterFinish release agent,” explains Cengizhan Zor, application engineer for precast concrete elements in Germany, Austria and Switzerland at BASF. “Furthermore, our customers benefit from our employees’ extensive prior experience and their in-depth knowledge in the area of concrete-surface technology – all of which will have a positive impact on the final result and the quality of the precast elements.”
MasterFinish CLN 689 – convincing customers with superior cleaning performance
Customers, too, confirm the effectiveness of the MasterFinish CLN 689 odorless formwork cleaner. “We place great emphasis on producing flawless concrete elements so that we can provide our customers with the best-possible quality. Choosing the right formwork cleaner plays a significant role here, as cleaning performance has a tremendous impact on the quality of the final concrete element,” asserts Sascha Ströder, Managing Director of IDEAL Betonelementbau GmbH & Co KG, a manufacturer of high-grade precast concrete elements. “During the tests we conducted, the unique cleaning capabilities of MasterFinish CLN 689, used in conjunction with a release agent from the MasterFinish RL range, impressed us a lot. And after several of our customers commented on the outstanding, completely rust-free concrete surfaces, and with the elimination of the odor-impact hazard in production halls benefiting both our employees as well as the environment, switching our entire production to MasterFinish products was an easy decision to make.”
