Wintershall Holding GmbH, which is located in Kassel, is a 100% subsidiary of BASF in Ludwigshafen and has been active in obtaining raw materials for 120 years; over 80 of these in searching for and extracting oil and gas. Wintershall consciously focuses on selected regions where the company has a high level of regional and technological expertise. These are Europe, Russia, North Africa, South America and increasingly the Middle East. Through exploration and production, selected partnerships, innovations and technological competence, the company intends to extend its business further. Wintershall employs around 2,500 people from 40 nations around the world and is now the largest internationally active German oil and gas producer.
For START Wintershall Information Management we are looking for graduates with above-average grades in business IT/IT (master/bachelor). You already have initial practical experience, ideally in IT project management, and are enthusiastic about the oil and gas industry. Because of your excellent English skills and at least three months of experience abroad, you are ideally prepared for your scheduled international assignments and global projects. Convince us with your flexibility, commitment, conceptual, analytical thinking, and willingness to be mobile.
The START IN Wintershall Information Management trainee program offers you an 18-month entry phase at Wintershall. You will learn using specific examples as well as concrete tasks, and will be assigned to intra-departmental projects in at least one other specialist department. To let you acquire intercultural expertise, a three-month delegation to one of our branches abroad is part of the program. The project work is complemented by specialist training courses. Once you have completed the program, you can take on exciting and responsible tasks and projects in the field of information management at Wintershall or one of our Group companies.
