Wintershall Holding GmbH, which is located in Kassel, is a 100% subsidiary of BASF in Ludwigshafen and has been active in obtaining raw materials for 120 years; over 80 of these in searching for and extracting oil and gas. Wintershall consciously focuses on selected regions where the company has a high level of regional and technological expertise. These are Europe, Russia, North Africa, South America and increasingly the Middle East. Through exploration and production, selected partnerships, innovations and technological competence, the company intends to extend its business further. Wintershall employs around 2,500 people from 40 nations around the world and is now the largest internationally active German oil and gas producer.

For START IN Wintershall Procurement we are looking for graduates with above-average grades from the field of business, engineering or law with ideally some experience in procurement and/or materials management. Because of your excellent English, and ideally other language, skills and at least three months of experience abroad, you are ideally prepared for your scheduled international assignments and global projects. You have an understanding of technology and are willing to think through technical issues.

The START IN Wintershall Procurement trainee program offers you an 18-month introductory phase at Wintershall. You will take on project responsibility and complement your skills with specialist seminars. The program includes a three-month assignment to one of our international procurement branches. Intercultural skills and the ability to quickly adapt to new situations are particularly important for your professional future. Once you have completed the program, you will be ready to take on exciting tasks within the procurement area of our company.
