With an investment in the low three-digit million-euro range, BASF has modernized its acid chlorides and chloroformates (ACCF) plant at the Ludwigshafen site and increased its production capacity by around 30 percent. The products in the ACCF portfolio are key building blocks in numerous value chains and are used in a wide range of applications, including pharmaceuticals, crop protection products, organic peroxides, coatings, and plastics.
