Key roles

Supply Chain Planning

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of production planning and inventory management to meet targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
Develops production schedules, plans packaging, and orders raw materials using SAP planning tools.
Collaborates closely with Operations, Product Management, Procurement, and other Supply Chain Planners to ensure successful execution of the production plan.
Manages inventory performance, conducts cycle counts, and oversees monthly closing and annual physical inventory to maintain accuracy and align with targets.
Demonstrates commitment to safety and environmental responsibility in line with BASF's Vision and Guiding Principles, following all applicable policies and procedures.

Logistics & Warehousing

You will act as the key interface between BASF internal departments, external sales force and our customers base to ensure sales order fulfilment, providing the highest level of customer service at all times.
Your responsibilities will include order and transport management.
Efficient and prompt handling of customer complaints, involving external sales team and technical groups if necessary.
Contributing with key information to help achieving customer satisfaction incl. delivery reliability and efficient stock levels for the business incl. planning.
Cooperation and involvement in supply chain projects.

Customer Service

Supply Chain Tactical Support: Provide tactical support for end-to-end supply chain delivery, monitor exceptions, drive disruption monitoring, and support crisis management.
Communication and Change Management: Work with operations to identify requirements, drive change, resolve issues, and communicate disruptions and recovery options.
Citizen Data Science: Coordinate analytics, implement predictive models, and develop prototype solutions for digitalization.
Supply Chain Operations Support: Generate reports, automate processes, and identify opportunities for operational improvement.

Business Experts

Evaluate and prioritize activities for global, regional, and local projects, ensuring alignment with stakeholders.
Identify strategic process requirements and facilitate handover to the responsible Process Owner.
Drive change management and provide consulting on master data structures.
Coordinate data validation activities and ensure closure of supply chain-related tasks.
Support project updates, training materials, user acceptance testing, and data migration activities for smooth project delivery.

Supply Chain Digitalization/ Experts
