Andrew Bailey to lead BASF in Pakistan
BASF has appointed Mr. Andrew Bailey as Managing Director for Pakistan, effective February 1, 2023. He succeeds Mr. Faisal Akhtar, who has decided to leave the company. Faisal will remain with the company until May 31, 2023, to ensure business continuity and support with the transition.
Andrew is an experienced Managing Director with more than 15 years of experience in BASF. Having worked in emerging markets including South Africa, Nigeria, and the United Arab Emirates, Andrew possesses a strong track record in developing businesses and teams and establishing legal entity.
In his most recent role, Andrew was the Managing Director of BASF Kanoo Polyurethane LLC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates before the business divestiture.
