You will take on responsibility at an early stage for planning and implementing technical measures, maintenance, repair and the production of new and complex system components. You've completed your degree in mechanical engineering with above-average grades and are hungry for a challenge?

You think and plan in advance, accept responsibility, and demonstrate endurance in order to achieve results and exceed expectations. You have excellent communication skills in German and English.

You are also a generalist or specialist in a certain area and whose knowledge and experience is tailored to the special needs of the chemical industry.

Engineers specializing in mechanical engineering or plant construction take on responsibilities for example for:

  • handling technical issues in maintenance, order processing, in the manufacture and repair of plant components
  • specialist projects, e.g. in materials or welding technology
  • organizational and business management
  • leadership responsibility
  • planning and implementation of technical measures in maintenance, repair and construction of new and complex system components

Mechanical engineering graduates can start according to their areas of specialization within the technical centers or in maintenance. Other entry-level possibilities are for example in logistics or site management, e.g. in infrastructure or energy supply. Or you may work in applications engineering, where specialists such as plastics or paper engineers develop innovative solutions in close contact with customers for a variety of business areas.

In addition to the various working areas in our own plant construction, in the technical centers (e.g. in the competence center Rotating Equipment) and in maintenance, there are other opportunities such as in site management, applications engineering, environmental and security technology and logistics.

As well as positions in traditional engineering fields, we also offer roles in technical marketing, our internal consultancy services, and strategic planning.
