May 05, 2026, Hyderabad, India – BASF’s Global Business Services, the global service organization of BASF, is set to open a new Global Service Hub in Hyderabad, India, in the second quarter of 2026. The announcement was made during a press briefing in Hyderabad and marked by the handover of a Letter of Intent (LoI) to the Hon’ble Shri Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Hon’ble Minister for Information Technology, Electronics, Communications, Commerce & Industries and Legislative Affairs, Government of Telangana.
The new Global Service Hub will operate from India under “BASF Global Business Services Private Limited,” strengthening BASF’s global service delivery network and underscoring BASF’s long-term commitment to India as a strategic location for integrated Finance and HR services.
Hyderabad was selected following a structured evaluation process, including on‑site assessments of multiple locations. “With the opening of our Global Service Hub in Hyderabad, we are creating a strong foundation for the future of Global Business Services,” said Tobias Dratt, President of Global Business Services at BASF. “Hyderabad offers the right ecosystem and talent base to support scalable, high-quality services for BASF’s businesses worldwide.”
“This announcement reflects the growing global confidence in Telangana as a trusted hub for critical enterprise functions. The establishment of BASF’s Global Services Hub will bring a new set of high-skilled roles to Hyderabad across key functions. It further strengthens the city’s role as a centre for core enterprise operations, where global companies are increasingly managing critical business functions alongside delivery.
