With 15 years at BASF, Gunjan brings a clear, grounded perspective shaped by both agricultural science and real‑world business experience. Trained in agriculture, she works today at the intersection of sustainability, stewardship, and stakeholder trust.

In her role, Gunjan focuses on ensuring that sustainability is built into how BASF operates, communicates, and makes decisions. From responsible product use to long‑term advocacy and readiness, her work supports how the company delivers value while meeting its responsibilities to society and the environment.

What defines Gunjan’s approach is thoughtfulness and consistency. She believes that credibility is earned over time—through clarity, discipline, and staying true to purpose. For her, impact is not about being visible, but about making the right choices, every day.

Dhurga joined BASF at a point where she was still figuring out what kind of work truly suited her. What stood out to her early on was the space she was given to learn, try new things and discover her strengths along the way.

Working in process optimization, Dhurga supports improvements by studying existing processes, analysing changes, and contributing to digitalisation initiatives. Each project gave her more clarity, not just about the work itself, but about what she enjoyed doing and where she could add value.

For Dhurga, BASF became a place where she didn’t just perform a role, but found direction by being given the space to grow and show her strengths.

When Archana joined BASF eight years ago, she stepped into a role that required her to grow technically and find her voice. What stood out early on was not being treated differently because of where she came from or who she was. Instead, the focus stayed on her work and her ability to contribute.

Working in customer experience, Archana helps build practical solutions that support teams in their daily work. Over time, she learned that impact is not always about big transformations, but about understanding how people actually use tools and making things simpler and more effective. Being close to the business helped her grow into her role with confidence.

What stayed with her most was the trust she encountered along the way. She was encouraged to learn, ask questions, and take ownership without having to prove herself twice. That trust gave her the space to grow at her own pace and feel comfortable speaking up.

Rohini’s journey at BASF reflects her passion for people and meaningful impact. After spending many years in the lab, she stepped into a role that gave her a broader perspective of how ideas and collaboration can drive real change. Today, she works closely with academic partners and researchers, bringing fresh thinking and bold ideas into BASF. For Rohini, moving beyond the lab helped her see how powerful curiosity and collaboration can be.

Her connection to BASF runs deeper because of the support she experienced at a very personal stage of life. When she joined the company, she shared openly that she was pregnant and immediately felt the care and understanding from her manager and team. From ensuring safe working conditions to standing by her through pre‑term labor, maternity leave, and her return to work, she never felt alone.

As a working mother, Rohini experienced the same trust and understanding that has allowed her to grow professionally while balancing life at home. For her, BASF is a place where people are genuinely cared for, life stages are respected, and you don’t have to choose between building a career and being yourself.
