BASF increases prices for MDI and TDI in East Asia region (excluding Chinese mainland)

March 23, 2026 – With immediate effect, or as contract terms allow, BASF will increase prices for its Lupranate® MDI (Methylene Diphenyl Diisocyanate) and Lupranate® TDI (Toluene Diisocyanate) by $500 per metric ton in East Asia region (excluding Chinese mainland).

At CHINAPLAS 2026, BASF will showcase an outdoor jacket produced in collaboration with Niber Technologies, Pte. Ltd. (Niber Technologies), a leading electrospinning specialist. The jacket incorporates the newly developed Freeflex®E 130, a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) based electrospun nano membrane.
