The Würzburg site is a competence center for basecoats in the worldwide network of BASF's Coatings division.
Color lends a car individuality and accentuates its design. For nearly 50 years, we have manufactured basecoats in Würzburg in a wide range of colors for the automotive industry. Our years of experience, the quality and sustainability of our products and the capacity to implement customer-specific requests have made us the leader in our field.
The most important success factor for us in Würzburg is customer focus. Thanks to our high flexibility, especially in production, and the broad experience of our employees, we are able to realize customized solutions in high quality and in time. This is especially important for German automotive manufacturers. We managed to change over the majority of the products to waterborne solutions, making a significant contribution to environmental protection.
