BASF announced today the signing of a Cooperation Agreement with Plug Power (NASDAQ: PLUG), a global leader in comprehensive solutions for the green hydrogen economy, positioning BASF’s advanced DeOxo catalysts as an offer within Plug Power’s hydrogen liquefaction plants globally to enhance their market offerings, improving reliability and cost efficiency.

BASF’s OASE® blue supports CCAT in carbon capture and storage project at Taiwan power plant

BASF has signed a license agreement with Carbon Cap Applications Technology Co. (CCAT) to provide its OASE® blue gas treatment technology for a carbon capture and storage (CCS) project at the Taichung Power Plant Carbon Reduction Technology Park, operated by Taiwan Power Company (Taipower), Taiwan’s largest electricity provider.

BASF and Hagihara Industries collaborate to deliver highly durable artificial grass for sports fields

BASF, a global leader in chemical innovation, and Hagihara Industries, Inc., a leading synthetic fiber producer in Japan, have joined forces to develop highly durable polyolefin yarns for artificial turf used in sports arenas, including football stadiums, baseball fields, and tennis courts. After three years of collaborative research and development, the two companies have created an advanced formulation with a series of Tinuvin® grades that significantly enhances the durability of synthetic grass, making it less susceptible to damage from sun exposure and ensuring it retains its vibrant color.
